As we move further into September, the run in to the end of the year is now well and truly upon us. Agency life moves at a frightening pace and, if you haven’t started already, you need to act now to make a real difference to your new business revenue next year.

Following a sluggish 2023, EY GDP growth predictions for 2024 are a relatively modest 0.7%. However, with inflation falling, higher consumer spending and anticipated falls in interest rates, growth in 2025 is predicted to accelerate to c.2%. This sentiment is echoed by the Confederation of British Industry, who also predict a rise of 1.8% in business investment in 2025. With investment comes new products and services and that provides opportunities for agencies.

In order to secure new clients for 2025, you need to be prospecting right now. The September to January period is critical for planning and budgetary decisions. With so much competition out there, If you are not in the shop window, you won’t be considered.
